A Stunning 1950s Burr Walnut 1 Piece Drinks Cabinet
This cabinet is in good condition. It is a typical 1950s burr walnut cabinet that is in one pieces. The cabinet stands on wonderful queen ann style cabriole legs with a carved frill to the bottom. The two doors have the most wonderful brass escutceon and a key to open and lock the doors. Behind the doors there are shelves for storage. The top section has similar brass escutcheon and key and opens to the main drinks cabinet section. The inside of the doors have a maple lining and a mirrored back and glass shelves. The mirrored bottom section is in good condition and above there is a pull out mirrord section to prepare drinks upon.There are galleried sections on the inside of the doors to store glasses in and 6 original red cocktail sticks . To the top there is a decoratively carved central motif.
This would look well in a large living room amongst any sort of light furniture.
The height is 161 cm, the width is 95 cm and the depth is 50 cm.
