A Rare Golden Oak Monks Bench/4 Seater Circular Table
This monks bench is very rare and very attractive. It is not only a large one seater chair but a four seater table aswell.
It would look well in a small country cottage next to a fire etc and then it could be pulled out into the middle of a room and used as a four seater table which is very useful.
The monks bench stands on beautifully turned front legs with stretchers between supporting a large seat. There are two arms that are wonderfully shaped to the front. When the monks bench has been used as a monks bench you can see the lovely carved backrest. This circular backrest does pull down on to the armrest and is pushed and locked into place to be used as a table.
The height is 130cm, the width is 91cm and the depth is 60cm. When the monks bench is used as a table the height is 76cm
