A Superb Solid Oak Carved Large Monks Bench/Coffer
This monks bench is obviously in excellent condition. It is superbly carved all over and of a very good quality. It is made from a solid oak and has a medium oak patina in an antique style polish. The monks bench stands on a scrolled plinth leading to heavily carved side panels aswell as front panels. There are arms to both the left and right to which the top can be swivelled from a conventional bench to sit upon or as a free standing item of furniture. There is a box settle lid with plenty of storage beneath.
The height is 99cm with the top in the bench position and 79cm as a free standing item of furniture. The width is 123cm and the depth is 53cm
