A Superbly Carved Solid Oak Muel Chest / Coffer/ Box
This mule chest is obviously in good condition. It is made from solid oak and we have finished it in an antique style patina / polish. The mule chest has been made in the style of the well know cabinet maker 'Titchmarsh & Goodwin.' The box stands on four end posts supporting the main section. This main section has two large drawers to the bottom with lovely brass drop handles and three superbly carved panels above. The top has a bullnosed edge and has plenty of storage inside. The lid does lift up to an upright position and stays there securely.
This would look well in a large entrance hall / living room or bedroom amongst similar oak furniture.
The height is 76 cm, the width is 131 cm and the depth is 47 cm.
